The breakup news isn't too shocking, considering Michele walked the red carpet in a stunning red gown without her Broadway beau at the Emmy Awards Sunday. This sort of thing has happened before in Hollywood. Last year, Justin Timberlake brought his mom instead of then-girlfriend Jessica Biel to the Oscars, and, sure enough, their split was announced shortly after the event.

Michele and Stockman most recently vacationed together in Hawaii back in July, and cameras caught them holding hands and smiling outside of LA eatery Madeo just about a month ago. No explanation was given by the actress' rep as to what went wrong in the relationship, and you probably won't hear it from the starlet either. She prefers to keep her personal life out of the press. However, she did profess her love for Stockman in a 2010 Glamour interview. "I would rather be in a long distance relationship with him than not have a relationship at all," she said.

The Big Bang Theory star styled her black gown with a red Judith Leiber clutch and red satin Giuseppe Zanotti peep-toe heels.  She wore her hair up in a french roll and wore diamond stud earrings and a diamond tennis bracelet.

“This is not a dramatic breakup, the relationship just ran its course,” her rep told E! Online. “They are still friends and will always be friends.”
On Sunday night, Lea, 25, made a solo appearance at the 2011 Emmy Awards, where her hit Fox show, Glee, was nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series.
Lea and Theo, who dated for more than a year, were last spotted together in early August.
