Out with the old ... Megan Fox. Out with the old ... Megan Fox.
Megan Fox has been replaced in the Transformers franchise  by Victoria's Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
The news was announced on the website of Transformers director Michael Bay.
"I would like for all you S4TE fans to welcome Rosie Huntington-Whiteley to the world of Transformers," the announcement said.

Fox was the female lead for both Transformers and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, playing the character Mikaela Banes. Banes was the love interest for Shia LeBouf's character Sam Witwicky.
No details of Huntington-Whiteley's character in the new film, which has been listed as Transformers 3, have been released but it is expected the British model will take over as LeBouf's love interest. The role will be Huntington-Whiteley's acting debut.
Last month it was announced that Fox would not be returning to the Transformers franchise, with Paramount Pictures not renewing her option.

Reasons for Fox's departure were not given but the actress's relationship with Bay is known to be strained. The Hollywood beauty caused a stir last year with off-the-cuff remarks that criticised both the director and the films.
In an interview with British magazine Wonderland, Fox described Bay as a "nightmare to work with" who had "no social skills". She compared him to Hitler.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly the actress said the first Transformers film "wasn't bad", but that she was not proud of her work.
"The movie wasn't bad; I just wasn't proud of what I did ... Working with Michael Bay is not an acting experience," she said.
Her comments prompted some crew members of Transformers to write an open letter in September last year, published on Bay's website, describing Fox as "ungracious" and "classless".
The director kept mostly out of the fray, but said that Fox had a lot of growing up to do and pointed out that Transformers started off her Hollywood career.
Fox has not had a blockbuster hit apart from the Transformers films. Last year she starred in Jennifer's Body and Australian audiences will next see her in the action movie Jonah Hex, due for release in August.
